I wanna run up to 15 psi on my turbocharged d16z6. The problem is I cant figure out how to do it. So far my options are:
1. Use my current vortech regulator with a s-afc along with 310 injectors. Would I be able to tune the fuel at idle with the afc to compensate for the larger injectors?
2. Get rid of my vortech and get a cartech adjustable rate of gain regulator along with 310s and a b&m commandflo to lower fuel pressure to compensate for the larger injectors.
3. Wait for zdyne for my setup
4 PMS
This is a street car with minimal track use. I have a built bottom end so I want to be able to run up to 15 psi everyday. Which of these options do you think would work the best? Thanks.

before you waste lots of money trying to jerry-rig your setup, wait and get a zdyne.
hopefully they come out soon.
that's what I am buying.

Unless he has an OBD2 car, then I'd suggest using a rise rate regulator, with even larger than 310 size injectors. Say 370 at lease.

My car is obd-1. I know I'm gonna have to get larger injectors but what will be the best way to control them? I dont want so much fuel dumping when I dont need it. The zdyne unit looks nice but for my setup it will only be available in the gold option, which means over a grand. I dont mind jerryrigging if I can get it to work right. I just need to know the best thing to use to tune the injectors basically. The afc looks nice but what will happen when my rising rate regulator kicks in? It's a fixed rate of gain so wont it dump too much fuel during boost? The afc is only rpm dependent. What I'm getting at is that I could be at 5000 rpm at 5psi and 5000 rpm at 10 psi, and still get the same amount of fuel added or deducted since the afc doesnt read boost.

what's the difference whether you are OBD1 or OBD2? I had a JRSC, sold it and ordered a DRAG III. My setup consists if a rebuilt bottom-end(JE/Crower), RC 310's, a B&M Command Flo, STR fuel rail and I'm waiting on the DRAG kit comes with a Vortech FPR. When I put the 310's and fuel rail on with the factory fpr, the fuel pressure @ idle was +50 so I put a B&M to lower it down to ~35. When I install the turbo, am I going to need another fuel controller or is the set-up I have suffecient enough to run 15psi?

SuperGSR: Since you will be running 310s with the vortech that comes with the drag kit, wont you be dumping too much fuel during boost since the vortech is rated at like 12:1? I'm considering doing the same but wont we need an adjustable rate of gain regulator with a lower ratio to compensate for the larger injectors?

psicvc: I'm not too sure, that's why I was asking.. Getting a Cartech FMU isn't too hard considering they're about 15 min from my house..
